Chalky you was always so happy laughing and joking with me. That big infectious smile every morning. We talked alot over the years about your mum and dad and your lovely wife Betty and your son Richard. I hope you're at peace with your lovely wife Betty. In each other's arms again. Rest in peace Chalky. Missed but never forgotten. Thank you for letting me care for you.

Chalky was a wonderful man. I enjoyed reading his stories. Viewing his garden pictures was pure bliss. I even mailed him some gooseneck from my garden. He Once asked me what Kentucky Bluegrass looked like, as I live in Kentucky, and my reply was, "I do not know'. Well just a few weeks later I happened to catch my grass blowing with the breeze and noticed that the grass has a blue tint to it. Thus Kentucky Bluegrass. Once, my husband and son went for a weekend(Fri - Sunday) Boy Scout outing only to return early Saturday morning. My next email went something like, 'he wasn't gone long enough' and Chalky said it sounded like a Country Song and proceeded to write me a song ❤❤ He was an immense help with my genealogy quest and his knowledge vast. Chalky is much loved and will be missed.
